Lensvelt launches Maarten Van Severen collection

September 2013
At the end of September Lensvelt will be launching its collection of Maarten Van Severen furniture in Amsterdam. It is based on Van Severen’s first series of designs, whose production he contracted out to Top-Mouton (later Aiki) in 1999. Lensvelt is now taking over the collection. In this way, the T88A table, the F88 seat, the LC95A low chair and the K7V90 cupboard will be on the market once again.
Hans Lensvelt and Maarten Van Severen collaborated among other things on the projects for Seattle Public Library and the Dutch embassy in Berlin. The furniture collection is being launched as part of Inside Design Amsterdam, an event organised by Elle Decoration in Amsterdam city centre. Lensvelt will be mounting an exhibition designed by OMA in association with the Maarten Van Severen Foundation.
